On Saturday in Beverly Hills, Nicole Richie tied the knot with her long time beau Joel Madden. It's being deemed the wedding of the year! The Fashion Guyzz spoke with a source who attended the wedding, now we have all the exclusive details of Nicole and Joel's big day. Guest began arriving at Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills mansion around 5:30. The wedding was to begin at 6p.m. sharp but guest were still arriving so it was delayed about 15 minutes. When it was time for Nicole to walk down the isle 'Ballerina Girl' (The song in which Lionel wrote for Nicole) played in the background. The couple exchanged vows they had written for each other. Rev Run was the pastor who officiated the ceremony. After the ceremony was a small intimate dinner where guest dined fillet Mignon. During dinner a number of toast went out to the happy couple. Lionel stood and welcomed Joel to the family, Benji thanked Nicole for completing Joel, Nicole thanked Samantha Ronson for 'hooking her up' with Joel. It was really sweet. Even though Lionel promised he wouldn't sing at Nicole's wedding he went back on his word. He got on the mic and sang 2 songs for the happy couple. And a wedding wouldn't be a wedding without the electric slide. Nicole along with Joel, Benji, Lionel, Brenda, Khloe Kardashian Odom, and other hopped on the dance floor to do the popular and classic dance. Lionel surprised Nicole with an elephant. Nicole has an elephant obsession and they are a kept as a means of good luck, so Lionel thought it would be apporiate for the occasion.
